CNC+Positioner

The CNC+Positioner is realized with the implementation of the GIANO option.
This is a CNC extension, with additional slave process, to control up to 36 additional positioning axes over the ones controlled by the CNC.
With GIANO it is possible to realize complex applications in which it is necessary to manage a group of axes in charge of the machining and other service axes, such as loader-unliade, clamps and so on...; this target is reached without adding another device and without a remarkable increment of CNC and PLC components.
The positioning on additional axes are controlled by PLC (Multiprocess libraries) or directly by the part-program using a list of commands; both possibilities are not exlusive. The intuitive graphic interface, parallel to the one of the CNC, allows to visualize the positioning axes status and it is particularly useful to simplify the application setup.
